I want to thank you for helping me with my financial needs. It Is comforting at the age of 80 to know that I do not have to worry about losing any money in this volatile market. Since I began working with you in 2003 I have never lost one penny I and the monthly check you established for me comes like clock work every month. I also like the checkbook feature from American Investors where in the case of an emergency I have access to my accounts. I do not have to worry about filling out forms and waiting on a check. In February of 1999, I worked with a representative of a local bank here in Rosenberg. Not only did I lose 19.89% of my portfolio in four short years, but for the life of me I can not understand why at the age of 71 he placed my money in a variable annuity which is tied directly to the stock market!

I began working with Shawn In May of 2006 when she was a Financial Representative with Allstate, I liked the fact that she had previously worked for AIM Mutual Funds for eight years and has extensive knowledge in working with retirement plans, stocks, and estate planning.
Shawn has shown me ways to protect my assets and preserve my principle. My portfolio has never lost
a dime during the time I have been working with Shawn. She is an expert in working with tax advantaged savings vehicles. I have not had to pay Income
tax In the last two years.
Shawn assisted me with a life insurance policy that I purchased In 1998 from another agent. She called the company with me, ordered an in force Illustration and explained to me how the policy worked. I came to the conclusion to not continue t pay $13,624.00 dollars in annual premiums Into a life insurance policy which ends In the year 2010, with no cash value or death benefit. At the time I was not taking any medication and had not seen a doctor in fifty years!
In April of 2008. I went Into the hospital unexpectedly. She helped me with Medicare and explained the benefits of my Medicare supplement policy. Shawn called the hospital for me to verify the bills had been filed correctly to avoid me overpaying.
Although she Is not an attorney, she is knowledgeable in estate planning. She reviewed my trust and verified that the documents were titled correctly In order to avoid probate.
Each quarter or upon request, she sends me a detailed report which includes the account values, policy numbers, company name. and phone number. Even though I can access my accounts dally on the Internet I like having all the information In one place.
What I like best about working with Shawn is that she is intelligent, logical, and trustworthy. At the age of eighty five these are qualities that are very important.
